Waiving Right to see Letter of Recommendations...

<p>So there's a box on the common app that asks whether you waive your right to see your teacher recommedations, and I've heard its bad to not waive this. However, at my school the way it works is that the teacher gives the student the letter, and then the student sends it off, giving the student an opportunity to read the letter. So would this reflect badly on my application?</p>

<p>Waive your right. If the teacher still wants to give you the rec, that's fine, but you're not <em>demanding</em> it.</p>
