<p>Yeah you will probaby have to get the SAT score up, in your back posts you mention you have a low g.p.a. that could be another concern.</p>
<p>Usually you have to be in the top 10% of your graduating class, have an ACT score of 28 + (don't know about SAT) and some minor stuff.</p>
<p>Put it this way: the MCAT is a very hard test.</p>
<p>But the kind of students who can be admitted to programs like these are the students who do not NEED to waive it.</p>
<p>In other words, you can only be admitted to such a program if you can prove that you're the sort of student who won't need it.</p>

<p>The MCAT is a test of basic scientific knowledge and writing ability on the level that should be achieved by mastery of first and second year college courses. Most of the programs that waive the MCAT's require very high achievement on the SAT and SAT 2 science tests, e.g., physics, as evidence that an applicant already has reached a level commensurate with an MCAT score that is substantially above average. Many also do not play the composite score game but consider only scores from a single sitting. Realistically, to be competitive your math and verbal scores (the SAT 1writing component is not considered reliable and does not carry much weight) at a single sitting should be at least 1400. For a program associated with a top med school, you are likely to need 1500 to be competitive.</p>
