Is it possible? I am going to be moving in with my father next year and leaving my mother and as a result there is a possibility I might have to completely refile the css profile. My mother is not willing to provide me with her tax return in order to file the non custodial profile next year because she believes that she is constantly under identity theft. (This is due to her mental illness, btw I cannot prove she is mentally ill because she is not formally diagnosed and refuses to accept the fact that she is mentally ill) Is it possible to get the Noncustodial profile waived? If not, should I just transfer out of the school I'm attending in the spring 2015 semester to a school that doesn't require the CSS profile? I'm already frustrated enough with all these problems in my life. I don't need another...

Based on what you have mentioned (parent unwillingness to provide information), it is unlikely that you will be granted a waiver.

Sybbie is right. That excuse will not likely result in a waiver. Everyone could make that claim.

You better change your list of schools. Those that require NCP info will not process any of your aid w/o your mom’s info.
