@cloe.salas, when you receive your envelope depends on how far you are from Wake. I hope you receive it by Tuesday, but who knows. Waiting is the toughest part.

@CarriesBakers, congratulation and welcome to the Forest. If you have not been able to visit Wake, I would try and visit Wake on one of the admitted students days (April 7 or April 21).

My child got accepted today! Gold envelope with cartoon drawing as others have said. We live in NC so others may be getting theirs next week.

We got the envelope in the mail today. We live in NoVA, but at least my daughter’s friends who also live in NoVA and also applied did not get anything in the mail. So really depends on your local post office too, I guess.

We are very happy / proud of her!

Hopefully this post will help someone down the line as far as your chances of getting in and whether its worth it to apply or not. If you are a prospective applicant please remember this - Do not try to step in someone else’s shoes. Keep your individuality, do things you love in high school, and make your own path. That is what is most important.

Also, at the end of the day you’ll regret not applying more than getting a rejection letter (trust me I have gotten a many)

After being deferred from ED 1 back in August…so it’s been a long 7 months of waiting. And today’s result was honestly worse then be rejected. Not sure what to do…not sure the waiting can continue.
