Wake Forest ED 2025

We checked in today and they said the 1st reviewer was done and the 2nd reviewer is working on the application. They said to expect a decision within a week-10 days. Our application was finished October 02.

Hi! I was accepted ED about two months ago. It took about 4 1/2 weeks since everything was submitted to hear back. I think for most people applying ED it takes around 4-6 weeks, but I would not be discouraged if it takes longer than that. Best of luck to you guys

Do you mind sharing the process of how you checked in with them? Did you just email your regional rep?

Today is week six for me. Iā€™m really hoping for a decision tonight, but know itā€™s possible I wonā€™t hear yet. I received an email last night stating that ā€œthey look forward to reviewing the applicationā€, and needed to confirm that all the information regarding institutional-based aid was correct. If I did not intend to apply for institutional-based aid, then there was no action I need to take. Did anyone else receive this email prior to a decision, and how did it correlate to the timing of receiving your decision?

Yeah, itā€™s about 6 and 1/2 weeks for me today. Iā€™m hoping for a decision too! I havenā€™t received that email yet. Good luck!! Fingers crossed!

Our D applied RD. Sent in her app on 11/6 and got that email yesterday. I wouldnā€™t think theyā€™d be reading RD apps yet so I just assumed that email goes to all students after Wake receives their app. Kind of an automated message.

I was under the impression it was also an automated email, but wanted to check in here and see! I applied ED, so was hoping that could be some indicator that the decision is near. Thanks for letting me know. Best of luck to your daughter!

this is six weeks for me too! do you guys think I should be worried if I havenā€™t received an email? fingers crossed for all of us!!

it is interesting, though, that she got it just a week after submission and you guys got it much later after the app was sent. Maybe everyone with an outstanding app got that email. Who knows. Iā€™m sure they are closer to deciding on the ED apps than the RD apps! Lol.

Iā€™m wondering if ED turn around time just takes longer now than it did a few months ago. They probably had fewer ED apps to read in Sept and more kids just sent them recently so it takes longer to get through them.

I would say not to worry yet. The ED page for Wake rephrased itā€™s ā€œ2-8 weekā€ policy to ā€œ6-8 weeksā€. Iā€™d say thereā€™s a good chance we hear tonight, but possibly we wonā€™t. Keep me posted if you hear anything! Iā€™ll do the same.

Hi everyone! I received the email as well even though I had already been accepted. The email acknowledged my acceptance and said the same thing about applying for financial aid.

@hacbbc I never really checked in with my regional admin counselor because it only took about 4 1/2 weeks to hear back. However, I did email the admin counselor who interviewed me because I had some questions about the application process.

Hi. Yeah I got that email too and was hoping that it meant they were near to reviewing my application and I am at 3 1/2 weeks from submission. I just really want to hear back and it just seems that people even now though are hearing at very different times.

I really donā€™t think it means anything since our D who applied RD got it too. I think it was sent to everyone who has an app in the system.

Guys! I just heard and got in! Letā€™s go Demon Deacs!

Congrats! So does it just show up in the portal? Weā€™re about to be in the 4-5 week timeframe. Weā€™ll be at Disney and I was hoping I could inteercept it and maybe do something cool with a Disney character giving her an envelope with her acceptance. I know itā€™s a bit cheesy but it would be special for her.

Congratulations! Still nothing here. We also didnā€™t receive the e-mail everyone was saying they received.

Yes! It said ā€œStatus Updateā€ and you click on the link and it takes you to a letter.

Thank you!

Hopefully today is the day for some of us! Good luck guys!
