<p>my son interviewed there summer before last. I recall that the interview was not a friendly “get to know you” chat like many other informational interviews he had that summer. I don’t mean to suggest it was unfriendly, but it is evaluative and there were some questions asked that he was surprised by. i.e. talk about an issue in your local news, what would you do with a million dollars. He didn’t think he did well, but he was accepted, so don’t worry about it so much that you become rattled. Be confident. Maybe tonight outline three topics you’re prepared to talk about (i.e. book you’ve read, world issue that concerns you, whatever). Then find a way to steer tomorrow’s conversation back to those topics. Good luck.</p>
