@Lilllllllly @Jm6844 letters seem to be weird. I am also from farfield county, near danbury, and I got my letter on Monday, but my friend did not get her letter on monday; i am not sure she has even gotten it yet.
I don’t think it’s dependent on decision though, one of my friends got rejected, another waitlisted, and I was accepted. Slow mail perhaps.
Congrats to everyone who was accepted. For everyone asking, the financial aid package should come within a week or two. I got in ED 2 and my package came within a week.
Liiiily - we’re one town away from you. Maybe tomorrow?
I know Wake likes to show it’s cute mascot mailing the letter on Facebook etc - the old-school way! But, it’s pretty insensitive to the candidates.
Congratulations to those who have received their acceptances! Welcome to the Forest!
For those still waiting, I know the process can be excruciating, but be patient. I promise it’ll be over soon.
Accepted Regular Decision
Charlotte, NC
Really good interview (Although it seems like that is supposedly very common on this thread)
3.9 UW
4.5 W
1500 SAT
Strong overall essays, recs, activities, etc
@lunamexico @WakeDad would they have been notified with their acceptance if they received merit aid? Or does that come later like the financial aid info?
Anyone in SE ( Atlanta area in particular) out there still waiting on the envelope? Baffling how it could take more than 4 days from NC to GA. Ugh!!
Everyone keeps saying they had great interviews which is why they are surprised they didn’t get in, but I think this proves the interview isn’t as important as you may think. I got accepted, but I was not very confident about how my interview went. It was fine but I don’t think I particularly impressed him.
Is there an admitted students GroupMe?
Just out of curiosity, for those that got accepted, where else are you deciding between? For me its fordham, lehigh and likely bucknell.
@ry4n822 William & Mary, Tulane Honors, Lehigh, GW so far, waiting decisions from 4 more schools by week’s end but Wake is top of my list for my 4 acceptances. Also have 3 waitlists and 3 rejections
Anyone got accepted without handing in their SAT scores?
Did you end up finding a group chat? If so pls send me the link. Thanksss!
I haven’t found one, but I’ve asked on Reddit so we’ll see.
Deciding between Rice, Trinity (TX), Elon Honors Fellows, and William & Mary.
Just finished reading a bunch of Wake materials. Did you fill out the net price calculator? If not, fill it out. Your EFC should be close. Let us know and good luck!
@Lilllllllly I got accepted without sending in my test scores.
@Clethos Congrats!!! I am just nervous since I saw many people decided to send in their test scores but I did not–thanks for sharing!!
