I thought that I was dead-set on Carolina. I would be a 7th generation legacy student and come from a big Carolina family. I love the atmosphere at the school and Chapel Hill. It was my very first choice until I got my financial aid package from Wake Forest. Wake Forest has been my second choice due to their smaller class sizes and appreciation for the IB program which I am a part of. I am a communication major so their programs are both good for that. They are similarly ranked in terms of academic rigor and sports and both check a lot of my boxes. I was hoping that current students or alumni of either school would be able to provide me with some insight? Thank you!
Intermediate and upper level classes at any medium or large state school will be medium or small size classes, anywhere from 10-40 students. I don’t attend either school, but top state schools like UNC will have more options academically incase you change your mind.
