THERES GONNA BE A WALL STREET 2!!Thats crazy does anyone else know about this? If its true I wonder what the script will be about...Gordon Gekko comes back as a hedge fund manager possible. I personally must of seen that movie 100+ times.

This is old news. And I am pretty sure its not going to be as good as the first one. It would be nice if it is though.

I really don't like movies on wall street/trading/banking etc though, books are better.

Yeah this is kind of old news. I'll probably see the movie but I don't think I'll be super impressed. Oliver Stone has been a piece of **** lately.

When is this coming out?

What are other good movies are there besides Wall Street, that are about wall street and finance, etc???

Boiler Room is a pretty cool movie...

I just watched Wall Street for the first time today. Does anyone know if the sequel is any good?

^Did you guys see the “Limitless?” I wish that could be true :)

The sequel is alright, but I liked the original a lot better. Lebouf is a terrible lead and the movie tried a little bit too hard to be edgy and hip. It might be worth it for you to see, but for me personally it just wasn’t memorable.

I agree 100% with Inmotion12 ^

Threads never seem to die on this site. The original one was from 5 years ago.

Funny thing about that is it seems they announced the Wall Street sequel well before the financial collapse of 2008. It seems they rewrote the entire script after 2008’s events to make it more applicable to today’s times.

Wall Street is a classic movie. Wall Street II was okay - nothing special. It did take a lot of it’s storyline from the real life events of the financial collapse. Just replaced Bear Stearns and Lehman Bros. with fictitious movie names, but those events in the back room of the NY Federal Reserve office really did take place.

Did anybody watch the serial Wall Street Warriors?

WHATTTT? There’s a SEQUEL OUT!!!

Wall street was a great movie! I would have never watched it if my teacher didn’t show it to us in my econ class. Part 2 in the other hand didn’t seem so great to me with Lebouf. Stick with your transformers lol. Sheen and his dad were great actors in part 1 though.

Wall Street 2 was terrible. I don’t understand how Stone can make a classic film one second, and follow it with a flop two years later. It did remind how far Charlie Sheen has fallen though. Lol…even in the sequel he was playing Charlie from Two and Half Men more so than Bud Fox from the original.

yea its to bad Sheen gone so low in his career.
