Saw it in theaters and didn't really think it was like the best movie of the year and then I bought it and watched it at home and holy **** this is amazing. Kinda like inception where you can look for the little things the second time which this movie does not lack. Gotta be up for best picture at the Oscars this year.

Yeah I usually don’t like movies but I’ve seen it once and I thought it was pretty good

Very good movie. Saw it with my AP English class as a field trip. One of my three favorite movies of the year along with Black Swan and Toy Story 3.

The Social Network was exceptional. One of my top five all time, without a doubt.

What little things were there the 2nd time?

There are a lot of lies in that film. The directer even admitted it.

Well since you’re not investing all your attention on the plot you can notice things…like how pretty much everything mentioned once comes back again.

^That’s cause it’s based off a book which Eduardo pitched the idea for. It fails to mention the company Eduardo started and then advertised on Facebook without Mark’s permission which caused Mark to get really ****ed off in the first place. And he didn’t dilute Eduardo’s shares to .03%, it was like 9%. They just didn’t go to him about anything because the contract signed away all intellectual rights. Then Mark eventually fired him. Yes he pulled a sneaky move to screw Eduardo but Eduardo should have dropped out of Harvard like Mark did, then he could have been a part of it.

Those rowing twins are still in court about it, in real life

The Winklevi really need to move on.

^They already made millions off of Zuckerberg, what more do they want? Also I just searched them and they both have personal facebook pages. Gotta love the irony. Btw Eduardo has a ton of fake ones but none that look remotely real and Zuckerberg has one but you can’t add him.

I loved this movie! I want to see it a second time. I know someone who’s seen it 7 or 8 times and loved it each and every time.

^^ They’re just making themselves look pathetic.

“If you were the inventors of Facebook, you’d have invented Facebook!”

Sign of a great movie, though inception was not one unfortunately.

the social network was WIN. EFFING WINN! :D

The Winklevoss twins are suing for misrepresentation of stock shares, which would net them nearly 9 or 10 times as much money as the previous 60 million dollar law suit did. If you had an idea, hired a programmer, and then you believe he stole your idea which catapulted him to a net worth of nearly 4 billion dollars, would you settle for 60 million. Keep in mind these are affluent, go-getter TWINS. Obviously, there is a lot of controversy surrounding this event and no one knows what happened besides those in the innermost circle, as it is with everything.

@eziamm. Dry irony, if anything. If you invented the transistor and you believe someone stole it from you, would you boycott using it? Or use your right to petition for redress of your grievances. Also, you’re quick to condemn a guy for not dropping out of college, much less Harvard, to pursue a “.com” start-up on the other side of the country.

^^That’s pretty much how to describe it. Even the first scene is gd amazing. It’s pure quality all the way through.

SchsKid- But the too oft forgotten Dustin Moskovitz did it. He ended up making more money than Eduardo.

What makes you say that?

I liked the concept, but the movie ended up focusing way too much on drama and not enough on the psychological depth. The result was a bunch of people crazy about a movie which they were clueless about, either in the sense that they were confused or that they didn’t realize that what they thought was a mind-blowing examination of levels of consciousness was completely overblown.

Social Network just won Best Picture on the Golden Globes.
