I moved to Florida for first semester and my grades didnt transfer back. My counseler is lowering my number of credits to graduate because of this.

<p>Sports: I played tennis in 10th grade and am playing now. I tried out for basketball in 10th but didnt make it. I surf alot, lift weights. Do colleges look at non-school sports?</p>

<p>Clubs: Im active in Beta, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and FBLA</p>

<p>Extra stuff: i volunteer with Habitats for Humanity, Humane Society, and a local nursing home. I work at subway.</p>

<p>How am I looking and what are my chances? what can i improve? thanks so much.</p>

<p>Update: Ive also never been written up or suspended or anything adminstrative.
( I have got detention and stuff but its not like that documented.) :P</p>

<p>ok so i got in with similar scores but you really need to take some AP courses if available because UGA puts that as one of their top priorities. I know people who made a 2200 on the new SAT and not get in because their course load was not hard for the school they attended. You will want to apply early admission so that you dont have to write essays or a list of awards and activities. Are you doing any activities that show how really committed you are?</p>

<p>well im supposed to take 4 APs next year. I didnt have a choice on whether i took APs or not this year because of the whole Florida thing.</p>

<p>Well Im playing football thats pretty commitive. When will I need to do the early application thing or where can i get info on it?</p>

<p>football s great for UGA, especially with yoiur scores. You will need to do ea in september because it is due in mid october. You have a great chance.</p>
