Hey everybody, I was wondering if you could help. So I have a 3.4 GPA, and 2200 on the SAT and I am in my junior year. I know my GPA is lower than it should be, however, I go to the top high school in Massachusetts, Boston Latin School (first public school in the country established in 1635). Harvard was literally created for our kids to go to in the mid to late 1630’s, and we remain to this day the number one feeder school (I think 20ish kids out of 450 went last year). Also on our transcript it is told that all of our classes are honors classes but with no GPA bump. How much will my high school help me? Also what do you think of this list of colleges? Could I get into these schools? Any other ones I should look at for finance?
Boston College
Bentley
UMASS Amherst
NYU Stern
Notre Dame
U Michigian Ann Arbor
U Chicago Booth
I know most of these are reach schools, but honestly I am not sure what else I should apply to. So what are my chances, and where else should I apply?
AP Courses:
World History, Micro Economics, Macro Economics, Statistics, Environmental Science, US History
Thanks a lot for the help.
