So I'm a freshman and am looking to transfer to Carnegie Mellon for sophomore year. I was accepted when I applied last year but chose to enroll elsewhere for a variety of reasons. I guess I had enough to get accepted the first time:

35 ACT, 700 Math and 680 Chem, 97 gpa (not very heavy, only 3 APs and a bunch of honors classes), top 10% of class of 700
Decent LOR, Good activities- nothing impressive but a good amount of involvement everywhere

But now the problem is my first semester of college. I'm in the Honors College at a state school as an engineering major. My grades were good, got a 3.87 :
Physics and lab A, Calculus II A-, Honors seminar A, Writing A-, Intro to ChemE A
However, I didn't do anything. I guess I was too into meeting new people and figuring out how to do decent in my classes that I kinda forgot to get involved in anything.

How much of a problem will it be if I apply to transfer without any activities?
