Hello! I am a current student at The University of Texas at Dallas and I want to transfer to UT Austin mid-semester for 2014 Fall Season. My current GPA for 2013 Fall is 3.41. I am a Biochemistry major about to transition to Neuroscience major. For 2014 Spring my current GPA is 4.0 and I am 100% positive it will stay at a 4.0. So my cumulative GPA should be around ~3.7-3.8.

My courses:
2013 Fall: 15 hours
General Chemistry I and Lab
Differential Calculus
Behaviorial Neuroscience
Texas Government

2014 Spring: 14 Hours
General Chemistry II and Lab
Integral Calculus
Exploration of the Humanities: Horror Movies
Introduction to Psychology

I am going to be a Neuroscience major. The only question I have is that you need 30 hours of transferrable coursework. Which I only have 29. I am planning to take some courses this summer so that should increase my coursework. Also I have community college hours which should be transferrable as well.

What are my chances into getting into UT Austin? Realistically is this a good investment to make? I currently have a full ride to UTD but I want to follow my dream and go to my dream school UT Austin for better social life and better connections. Obviously I would have to pull loans to pay for UT Austin in the case that I do get accepted. I am planning to volunteer at a hospital this summer, take summer courses, and work full time.
