Wanted: Wildly Enthusiastic Dartmouth RDers

Can't wait to apply ED next year! I'm already getting my essays and recs in order!

Wildly enthusiastic is superfluous, don't you think? I like the school, but I'm not wild or enthusiastic. If anything, I'm just thusiastic.

Her point was to keep this subforum active.

And what, those of us who are thusiastic can't post here? Are we supposed to get in the back of the bus? Well, let me tell you what- I'm not going to take this anymore. I appalled by this outward discrimination towards those of us who are thusiastic, and I refuse to be treated like second-class citizen because of my moderate levels of emotion and monotone voice.

You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

We are an equal opportunity embracer of all forms of thusiastic:

the wildly enthusiastic
the enthusiastic
the thusiastic
the wild thusiastic
....
....

So, do people who are wildly thusiastic eligible for any special discounts/college acceptances?

Is thusiastic the new african american, and merely enthusiastic the new Asian??

Hmmmmmm, we'd better let the Supreme Court Deliberate:

CC v. Dartmouth College - 2007

Well, that's fine. I'm gruntled now.

These telligent jokes are leaving me gasping for air.

This whole discussion completely whelms me.

for all you that applied regualar decision...did Dartmouth send you any type of conformation/any way to check the status of your application. They had everything of mine by 11/28.

no. dartmouth are nonconformists.

Indiejimmy was being facetious regarding your misspelling of "confirmation." You should get confirmation eventually, at least before you get your decision.

i'm a middle class white male from the northeast who absolutely fell in love with dartmouth as soon as i got on campus.... perhaps pessimistic, but i'm definitely in it with the rest of you!

I'm applying RD from AZ... should be a culture shock, I think, if I get in!
