Anyone here play Warcraft III or World of Warcraft? I play the Frozen Throne myself. Dota mostly, some melee on the side. Do you play in between classes? Friday nights? With friends?

i hope you're joking

I smacked a friend because he didn't come to a party due to a 'raid'.

Hahaha...**** that ****...its just like DD back in the day, cept on the computer

dota is fun, some guys in my dorm last year got me into it. We would set up a lan and play every so often. Good times, good times....

"I smacked a friend because he didn't come to a party due to a 'raid'."

hilarious.

wow....that had to be the gayest statement ever made

Socom is better than Warcraft. Socom 3 is the shizzle.

Starcraft & Halflife 2 > all other PC games
I love Starcraft because its actually aged really well. The game is still fun to play ever once in a while. I just got HL2 a few weeks ago and it really blew me away with its implementation of physics and its environments.

Even though I like Blizzard, I never really got hooked on the Warcraft series.

If you must play video games, play an X-box against or with others. At least be with other people

I play both. I love how many negative responses came out right away. So what if some people like to play video games.
On that note, war3 is better for your social life as you can just quit after a game. Raids are harder to get out of due to them lasting 4 hours+ sometimes.

I am a god of WC3.

I used to play WoW but once you reach the higher levels, you're forced to do the super long boring instances which take up like 3-4 hours per run.

I like WC3 but I have to admit I think Starcraft is better. Starcraft is the ultimate lord of all RTSs. I like WC3's unit control system (with subgroups and stuff) and the fact that the pathfinding isn't retarded like in Starcraft, but Starcraft just has a much better feel to it. I'm not that good at either of them, but they're both lots of fun.

I never bought into Starcraft, as far as RTS games goes, Total Annihilation is by far the best of all time.

I know so many people that have almost...or have...failed out of college because of World of Warcraft. I had one friend that quit Warcraft because he'd have to drop out and go to the University of Oklahoma (by his house - shiver) if he didn't fix his grades.
