Warm weather suggestions?

Tulane has kosher dining, and Chabad is nearby. So far Tulane is the #1 choice of my friend's son, and he is looking for a Jewish environment. He has already been admitted (non-binding) with a $22K merit scholarship and has applied for the full-tuition merit scholarship. He is a drum major and trombone player and his mom is very savvy negotiating for more merit aid based on these ECs. Your friend's daughter might be able to do the same. They have met with the band director and she is in regular e-mail correspondence with him and the admissions staff. That's REALLY known as demonstrated interest! They are going to the Honors College weekend in late March. Will someone explain to me how Tulane could schedule this weekend right before Passover? They are going to attend a seder on campus.

William & Mary is very open and tolerant for a southern school. President just removed alter cross from 300 yr old campus chapel so Jewish/Muslim/Buddhist students would feel comfortable/respected for their religious beliefs.

He took a lot of heat but is standing tall on Jeffersonian priciples.

Schools where students regularly or can easily have apartments (on or off campus) and cook for themselves might also be a good option. USC has on-campus apartments, Claremont has limited apartments, most of the UCs/CSUs have lots of off-campus housing...I don't know many details but I do know a few students who keep kosher this way.
