Oh man, I live in New Mexico, and the Warped Tour came to Las Cruces on June 28th (but I live in ABQ, so it's like a 4 hour drive), and I missed it!!!!! I was gonna go w/my bf, but his parents didn't want us to get a hotel that night (which we'd have to do) because they are nazis, even though he's 18 and he should be able to do what he wants! @#$! I REALLY wanted to see MCR, Hawthorne Heights, Offspring, Senses Fail, MxPx, Silverstein, UnderOath, From First to Last, All-American Rejects, Atreyu, and Matchbook Romance. As you can imagine, I'm totally bummed that I didn't go, especially as the summer goes on. I guess there's always next year (even though it won't be all the same bands).

nufrosh, sorry to hear you missed it! I had an amazing time yesterday!!

Silverstein and All-American Rejects didn't come to Detroit, which sucks... I hate how some bands come for a month and leave!

It was weird because the craziest crowd was actually for Fall Out Boy- they had to stop after every song and tell people to take 3 steps back, and even before they started a huge mass of people (myself included) got rammed onto the floor and people were screaming since there were like 20 people on top of whoever was on the bottom!

The best crowd-surfing I had was at Hawthorne Heights.. they are amazing live, and so was MCR... I've never seen so many middle fingers in the air in my life! haha

So overall, it was tons of fun even though everyone was covered in everyone else's sweat since it was soo hot outside.

All those bands suck. I always think: 14 year old white sub-division kids decked in Dickies and Hot Topic black clothes crying and moaning about stupid crap, when I think about Wraped Tour and every baby pop rock "band" playing there. Thank god I live in the chicagoland area- LOLLAPALOOZA. There where actually real bands at it and f-ing good (Dinosaur Jr reunion). I really hate warped tour bands.

Lollapalooza is awesome too, but they still get those 14-year olds moaning about stupid crap. Every show with this many bands will have some crap bands as well... but not all warped bands suck.

Ok, first off, it's not exaclt my scene. I went w/ my hardcore punk friend and so found myself in the crowd for "My Chemical Romance," "The Offspring," "Fall Out Boy," "Thrice," and "All American rejects," etc. The music was ok, but I guess i prefer the Indie/soft rock/Oldie stuff. The whole thing was fun except for the fact that it was like super hot and no one was wearing a shirt. So, everyone was really nasty and sweating all over each other. I was definitely not turned on when i turned around and bumped my head into some gross guys' tatoo-ed stomach!!

Hahaa I've was so desperate to go couple of years back when I thought I was all punk/rock and roll/punk rock.. you know those days of being 13..
