Why does warren have only one orientation date? Doesnt it have the largest amount of incoming freshman compared to the other colleges?

Also, does anone know when we find out our rooming assignments and who our roomates are?

I think Muir has the most freshmen. Honestly though, I don’t know why Warren and Sixth only have one. It must just be scheduling issues, or maybe it’s easier to organize and facilitate when there is only one session.

Roommate assignments are posted in late August. I remember that night, it was so exciting!

I kno rite? Our orientation is on Sep 17 or something and then move-in day is like Sep 20…!?! Im wondering if we can move in early cuz i dont wanna go back and forth.

Oh yeah if your orientation is right before move-in you will be moving in to your actual room for the year, no worries.

According to the Warren College Orientation 2009 Facebook site, freshmen move in first and then they have orientation.

Here’s what the site says:

Please note these important dates:
September 16, 2009: On-Campus Move in (times will be assigned to individuals over the summer)
September 17, 2009: Parent Orientation Program
September 17-18, 2009: New Freshman Orientation
September 21, 2009: Transfer Student Orientation
September 21-25, 2009: Welcome Week

Here’s the link if anyone wants to check it out:

So, Warren does have the most freshmen, or at least that’s what they told us during our orientation.

Warren only has one orientation because it’s more convenient for people who do not live close enough to afford separate trips. Perks of having one fall orientation is that you get to move in early. =]

So you move in on wednesday, the 16th and orientation starts the next day.

As far as room assignments go, here ya go: [UC San Diego Housing Frequently Asked Questions](http://hdh.ucsd.edu/housing/faq.asp#roomassign)

ohhh ic… thanks everyone. it’s good that we can move in b4 orientation then. =)
