Was the French Revolution worth its death toll?

Was the French Revolution worth its death toll?
What acomplishments were achieved?
How did the French Revolution help France progress and advance?

sounds like homework help to me.........

^^ Yeah. theproblemchild: You are not allowed to ask for help with homework and related schoolwork on these forums.

you should totally turn this into an argument about how death is beneficial to mankind

It was definitely worth the death toll.
Napoleon got into office.
It developed technological advances such as guncotton and the guillotine.

way to do his homework for him lol

I think (hope) Liist is being sarcastic.

it wasn't worth its death tole because:
1] nothing was accomplished
2] the death toll was very, very, very high
3] lots of innocent people were killed

Isn't that revolution supposed to be about? Anyways, a lasting republic wasn't created, so the revolution was a waste.

oh well, the fact that nothing was accomplished would make any death not worth it

It was worth it-the country now has a smaller population that will contribute less to global warming.

We got baguettes, freedom not to shave, freedom fries, and a love of short guys because of it.

It got the country a dictator.
