Wash U business school vs Wash U arts & science?

Wash U is my first choice for 2021 admission. I plan to apply ED and suspect it’s a reach. I would like to major in business but I suspect I have a better shot at getting into arts & science given how few Olin undergraduate applicants are accepted each year (165). Do you think I have a shot at either?

My weighted GPA is 4.6/5. All Honors and 2 APs junior year (scored 5 in Calculus, 5 in chemistry) 4 APs planned in senior year
SAT 1520 (770 math, 750 language)
SAT 2 chem - 800
SAT 2 math 2 - 770

ECs
-National Honor Society
-Varsity swim 4 years (will be captain senior year)
-Club swim team 10 years (MVP)
-Four year (60 hours a year) working in non-profit that rehabs/provides computers to schools in underserved communities
-Intern in local philanthropic umbrella organization that provides funding for local non-profits
-FT educator past 3 summers at Technology and Art camp teaching web design, science, video game design, robotics

I think you’re an average application for this school. You probably want to win some more awards or something to solidify your profile.

You’re a great applicant for this school, at least for arts and sciences. I had a lot of friends with lower stats. Also, applying ED gives you a 40% chance of getting in. I would say apply for arts and sciences because you don’t have to do anything to switch schools once you’re in, just paperwork. Good luck!

Thank you! So it sounds like it is pretty straightforward to transfer to the business program (presumably at the start of sophomore year).
