Wash U supplement?

The common app says that Wash U requires no supplements, but I feel a little silly submitting to them my simple common application. Do they have an optional supplement? Also, how does one apply for merrit scholarships?

No, there is no available supplement. Last year I believe WashU had some sort of off-site application with no supplemental essay. This year it looks like they’ve dropped the off-site portion altogether and are sticking with just the Common App. With that in mind, try to really make your Common App shine since that’s all the admissions officers will get.

They actually do have a supplement: [Pre-Application Data Sheet](http://admissions.wustl.edu/apply/freshmen/Pages/Pre-ApplicationDataSheet.aspx)

Oh, my bad. I guess they kept that same format. But anyway, it’s pretty standard information and there isn’t an additional essay or anything. Focus on the Common App. That’s what will tell the admissions officers who you are.
