Washington, D.C., regional auditions?

<p>Hi, I'm already trying to figure out a game plan for my son's acting auditions this coming school year. I posted this query on the theater/drama forum yesterday but have had no luck getting a response, so I thought I might try the more active MT board! </p>

<p>I've noticed that Syracuse and Ithaca (as well as NYU, I think) have referred to holding auditions in Washington, D.C., in the past. Does anyone out there have experience with this? I'm especially wondering roughly WHEN they were held--i.e., before Christmas or right in the thick of the audition season--and where. It would be a huge help to my S if he could do a few auditions closer to home. Thanks in advance for any information!</p>

<p>We did some regional auditions in San Francisco and they were held right before LA Unifieds. It seemed like a stopover that the schools (Emerson & Boston) made on the way to LA. I really have no idea but it makes sense that they would be at a time when they were already on the road…and yeah, this all happens at once and scheduling is tough if you have a big list.
