<p>Is this just a marketing tool. My son received this email:</p>

<p>The application for undergraduate admission for our class of 2016 (the class entering in the fall of 2012) is now available on our website at Washington</a> University Admissions.</p>

<p>Washington University accepts the Common Application and requires a brief Pre-Application Data Sheet/Common Application Supplement. You may complete and submit the Supplement online and beginning later this summer you may download the Common Application forms. If you prefer, you may submit the Universal College Application in place of the Common Application.</p>

<p>We are looking forward to receiving your application so we can learn more about you.</p>

<p>Yes, many of my junior friends received the same email. WUSTL have been constantly sending them email and this is just another email they sent. They got their email from the Collegeboard and ACT.</p>
