<p>I 've decided to absorb all of the stress for my son who has applied ED and doesn’t know about CC. So I am the one obsessing on his behalf.</p>

<p>In the good old days - (late 1970s) you really did have to wait for snail mail to arrive and, if like me, you had a little old Italian grandmother who did not respect the privacy of personal mail, you’d have your admission decisions bellowed out in broken English as you walked up the hill from the bus - of well.</p>

<p>Anyway, as an old guy, here are my two cents on the band question: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Southside Jonny and the Asury Jukes and Steely Dan.</p>

<p>ughh i just realized that after i mailed in my activity sheet/resume, i never called or emailed to confirm that they got it. the common app EC section is not so great, and i feel like that activity sheet is what might give me my shot at Wash U. gah…if they didn’t get it…though…i don’t see why they wouldn’t have…i’m just making myself paranoid</p>

<p>Hi All! My name is Remy and I’ve also applied ED to WashU. I’ve been reading and following this thread for a while and I’m really glad I checked in because I thought it was coming out on the 15th, not potentially today or tomorrow! It makesme both incredibly excited and horribly worried at the same time. I’m in school and I can’t think of anything except this. Any updates on a more firm time/date for when this comes out? And good luck everyone, hang in there!</p>

<p>Looks like the first post of a decision from last year was at 4:38 pm on 12/9, which was a Thursday. I do not know what time zone (Best of luck!):</p>

<p>I have been following this thread for quite some time now. It’s nice to see that other students are in the same boat as me – I am so anxious to know the admissions decisions. I hope they are posted tonight, but I’m trying not to think about it. I had a Calculus Placement Test this morning and I couldn’t concentrate on it. It’s killing me. :(</p>

<p>Okay, I’m really freaking out now. I know Columbia and Cornell are coming out at somewhere around 5 tonight, but we’re thinking 6 east coast time? And I hope the site doesn’t crash, I’m sure there’ll be a boatload of us trying to check all at once</p>
