Am I allowed to apply to WashU Early Decision, then another school Early Action? I haven’t seen anything saying no on the WashU website, but I want to make sure with the knowledgeable people of CC. An answer from someone who knows would be appreciated!
I believe the rule is that if you are accepted at WashU ED, you are then obligated to attend (assuming financially feasible, which you should have already pretty much figured out prior to applying) and must retract any other apps at other schools.
Yes, EA is fine, as long as it is not SCEA which would violate your agreement with the other school, not WashU. Good luck, it is such a fantastic school!
@2muchquan I understand that, but am I still allowed to apply both ED to WashU and EA somewhere else? So if I get rejected from WashU (hopefully not, but it’s not impossible), I still have the EA to a different college?
