I'll be majoring in something biology-related and thinking of going down the pre-med route. I know how Harvey Mudd and CMU both have a reputation for engineering/computer science so I am wondering how that would affect a bio/pre-med person like me verses schools like Washu and UCSD, who are more known for the sciences. Also, I know maintaining GPA is important for med school so would that be an easy task at these schools or would the library be my second home?

Other factor's I'm considering:
Are the professors accessible? Are there (a lot) of research opportunities?

Are classmates collaborative? Distant?

How's the social life?

THANKS AGAIN :D
