Hi everyone! I was recently admitted into WashU’s Olin Business School as well as Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. A lot of discussions and articles have led me to believe that the two are pretty similar, but I am still a bit unsure as to how they compare both for business and their respective colleges as a whole.
With that said, how do you feel Olin’s rankings, prestige and overall academics stack up to those of Carroll? Does it place well for jobs after graduation? Are students hurt by the school’s location when applying for internships and employment in the northeast in comparison to BC? Do financial and accounting firms recruit on campus? Do MBA applicants place well? What are your thoughts on WashU versus Boston College outside of business?
I completely understand if there is a slight bias towards Olin in this group, but any advice or insight that you could provide would really be appreciated! Thank you in advance!!
