hey guys this isn't a joke and may play a tiny role in my decision. does washu have a quidditch team? how do you try out? details and elaboration on the season? thanks!

hey, that’s part of my decision too! from what I’ve found, according to the Quidditch International site, WashU’s team is “currently forming” - but I have no way of confirming that. Hopefully there’s a current student on here that can actually answer that?

I’ve definitely seen them play in the swamp on a handful of occasions (kinda hard to miss). I find it amusing to watch, but they seem to take it seriously.

There is not a true quidditch team per say. During the fall semester, the CS40 (a programming body for the undergraduate residential area, read more about it on www.cs40.wustl.edu if you’re interested) hosted Harry Potter Week to celebrate the premiere of the new Harry Potter movie. As a part of that, we hosted a quidditch game between the residential colleges. If you’re interested in quidditch, you’d probably also be interested in the live action role playing club. I’ve been searching for like 10 minutes now and can’t find a webpage for the life of me, but I’ll post again if I find anything.
