Does the scholarship committee read your common app essay or just the essay you submit? I have a great piece in my Common App essay I would like to use in one of my scholarship ones. Would I be penalized for doing this?
I asked the exact same question to my admissions officer a couple months ago. She said that they will look at your general application when they assess your scholarship application. So the scholarship committee will have access to your common app essay.
