WashU, Vanderbilt, Duke, Northwestern, UMich, UIUC

I'm going to be a senior this year, and I'd like to see what my chances are. I won't be looking for financial aid if that means anything, and I'm an Asian male. I'll be applying to:
Washington University in St. Louis- ED
Vanderbilt
Duke
Northwestern
UChicago
Notre Dame
Michigan (Ann Arbor)
Illinois (Champagne-Urbana)
Stanford
Wisconsin (Madison)

GPA Cumulative- 3.58 uw/4.19 w, somewhere between 15%-20% in my class
Freshman GPA- 3.39 uw/4.12 w (Honors Physics, Honors Geometry, Honors World History, Honors Spanish 2)
Sophomore GPA- 3.70 uw/ 4.04 w (Honors biology, honors algebra 2/trig, AP US History[5])
Junior GPA- 3.60 uw/ 4.34 w (AP Lang[5], AP European History[5], AP Compsci[4], Honors Chem)
Senior year, I will be taking AP Calc AB, AP Physics C, AP Economics, AP Lit

I'm at one of the top public schools in Illinois

I attended the Stanford High School Summer College, where I earned a 3.45 GPA in a biology lecture and general psychology

ACT- 35 (35 E 34 M 34 R 35 S)

Extracurriculars

A great deal of my ECs are in music. I'm a violinist, playing concertmaster at both of my schools orchestras, and I participate in one of the top ranked youth orchestras in the midwest. I performed a solo during my junior year, and will most likely perform another one this year with my school. I also do occasional gigs at my church and an elementary school in an underprivileged area. For my school, I played in the pit orchestra during my sophomore and junior year, putting in about 50 hours each year

I tutor 4th and 5th graders every Thursday at the elementary school mentioned above

This summer, I volunteered at the courthouse for a federal judge and a non-profit, totaling about 50 hours for the judge and 100 for the nonprofit

I ran cross country freshman and sophomore year, and track as a freshman

I began chess club and science club during my junior year, and plan to continue going

Sophomore year I lead a small group of 8th graders, and sophomore and junior year I lead a small group of 3rd graders for my church's elementary school program

Recs

One of my teacher recs will probably be alright, one will be excellent. I'm also getting one from the federal judge I volunteered for, and one from the non-profit I volunteered at.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Your EC’s are awesome! So is your ACT…do you have any SAT subject tests? The only thing I don’t know is whether your GPA is that high…do you have an AP classes?

I took the bio subject test and got a 680, but I’m not sure if I want to report that. I’ve taken 8 honors and 4 AP classes so far. My school is pretty difficult, so that’s a very hefty courseload that exceeds around 95% of my class

So Duke RD with its 9% acceptance rate is a low reach but WUSTL ED with its 30+% acceptance rate is a reach? Are you trolling or are you really this ignorant?

Your ACT is very good while your GPA is not. That would hurt your chance at some schools.
What is your intended major? I assume you are not going to engineering or business but just LAS.

Duke - Low reach
Northwestern - Low reach
UChicago - Reach
Notre Dame -Low reach
Michigan (Ann Arbor) - Low reach (poor GPA)
Illinois (Champagne-Urbana) - Low match (in state)
Stanford - Reach
Wisconsin (Madison) - Low match

I’m currently undecided. I’ve been considering either biology or business, but I will most likely apply to LAS and may switch to business later down the road if possible. I’ll also be declaring a minor in music performance. Also, what is my chance for WashU? Thanks so much for your help
