I have been accepted by both Washington University in St Louis and Vanderbilt for this coming year, and I am really torn between the two. Hopefully someone here can help! I am especially interested in astrophysics, and I would love to do as much research as possible. Some other questions I have are:
- How heavy is the workload?
- Is the environment more collaborative or competitive?
- How accessible are the professors, and how much individualized help are they willing to provide?
- How will each school help prepare me for grad school, specifically a PhD in astrophysics?
- Are there any “X-factors” that set these schools apart?
Thanks in advance for all of your help!
