Anyone heard a decision back from them? My app's been completed from their standpoint for 20 days (today) but I just wanted an idea of how long it would actually take to find out my decision. I've sent off my transcripts and recs to my other transfer schools, but not the actual applications because I'm only going to apply to Cornell if I get in Washu.

I haven't yet dearsir. I'm getting mine by mail only though (opted no for the internet decision). Mine's been in since the 23rd of January and they say decisions usually go out within a month's time.

excellent recs with a few best in career

joined the present univ because the admission officer suggested me to try and transfer next year

When I applied last year I had my application in around December 1st, however they didn't start reviewing applications until January 15th. I heard back in late February. Hope this helps!

dearsir - I unwillingly did so in that I didn't do my online pre-app part until after I'd submitted the app! I had thought I'd already done it, but I hadn't, so because the pre-app (which does your online file) was turned in after the app, it won't let me receive the decision online. No biggie though. Mail seems more exciting.

Dearsir - about McGill, I submitted my app and it said "ready for review" this morning; I got back on this afternoon and it says "further review required" and now they are requiring my high school transcript. Did they do that for you too? And what do you think that means - they don't have much faith in my 2 years at my CC? Ugh.

EDIT: It says up top:

An admissions officer, after review of your file, may add new documentation requirements before a final decision can be made.

So that's what's happened to me. I have to send my HS transcript now which is like a 3.3 UW - lotta AP classes but that's a pretty low GPA.

My SAT and AP scores got me through the first wave. My ECs pushed me the rest of the way. I had (have)international awards in IT and humanitarian efforts, had 5k times to interest their coach, had musical accomplishments that allowed me to perform and compete nationally and internationally and most of the REALLY bad grades came senior year.

Also, my weighted GPA wasn't too bad. I was still in the top 20%.
