My transfer applicant was complete by the end of January (as stated by the admissions office), and in mid-February, I received a letter back saying that Wash U wanted to wait to make a decision until after they got my spring semester grades. I responded that I would like an earlier respond and sent in my mid-term grades around mid March. After contacting the office, Wash U said that sending in midterm grades may speed up the decision process. I haven't gotten a decision back yet, so I'm still waiting it out. It makes me mad because they say that they have rolling admissions, but they are delaying the decision for so long. I have tons of good college ECs (two choirs, vice-president of one choir, water polo, voice, piano, work-study, and religious orgs), a good HS GPA (4.05 at a really pretigious private school) and ECs, good recs, pretty good test scores, received all 4s and 5s on 7 AP exams (I could have came into college with sophomore standing but chose not to), and have over 3.85 at Mount Holyoke College (including midterm and last semester's grades; this my first year); they could easily make some sort of decision soon (I just want closure at this point, especially because I have to decide about William and Mary, which I just got accepted). Has anyone or anyone you know received a decision from Wash U yet?
