Is it a waste of time to apply transfer to a school when it says you need a C+ average, and you haven't quite got that because you pretty much failed first year of college, but have been getting (consistantly) in the C+-A range for the last year?. I've been part of campus groups and have a learning disability as well (it was undiagnosed/unrecognised first year, and I had no help at all)

It depends on what school you are trying to transfer into. It would be in your best interest to explain your poor freshmen grades upon applying. Just because you don't fit the criteria does not mean you are instantly denied.

I have low test scores that didn't qualify my entrance into college but somehow I managed to impress them enough to let me in.
