Water bottle in the SAT hall?

To: Ze people who have taken the SAT

I ask you whether I will be allowed to take my water bottle with me to the SAT hall ( and no, I dun plan to cheat)

Yeah, you can.
Actually I took my schoolbag and packed water, chocolate, grapes, bananas and a toast. :) And yes, I brought all these to the test room.

The water bottle is more than normal. They might not allow you to keep it on the table while taking the test but you can definitely bring it to the test room.

It has to be under your chair, and you can only drink it during designated (which excludes stretching) breaks.

I didnt know you were allowed to take anything to the SAT hall except your clothes and your pen/calc =P

the test regulations make the test 10000x harder since your body decays while you do the test, not allowing you to replenish yourself when you get thirsty, hungry, etc.

yeah, i took a lot of stuff to the testing room, but i had to put everything under the chair. once you put something under your chair you officially arent supposed to get it back out until the end of the test, but i "cheated" and drank my water and ate my food during the break. just dont make a big deal out of it and the proctors probably wont care.

one of my friends who took it in a different room actually had a proctor who enforced the "dont take anything out from under your chair" rule. it sucked for her because she had a cold and the proctor would not allow her to get her kleenex out of her backpack throughout the entire test, even at the breaks. AND she went to the bathroom and got some toilet paper, but the proctor wouldnt let her have that either because nothing is supposed to be on your desk except a pencil and a calculator.

so hopefully you dont get a proctor like that.

The proctors who aren't familiar with the SAT enforce every tiny little rule, but you'll probably be lucky enough not to end up with one of those. And, like andreaaaaaa said, if you don't make a big deal out of it, they won't either.
