Who wants cake?

Hi.

Tell them that almost all of the information contained on CC is false, or that the site will shut down–soon.

I think I’m a fan of the site maintencence for a week idea.

CCislulz gets me annoyed pretty fast at times.

■■■■■■ and this thread ;)

Tell them that you didn’t get straight As or have perfect 5s on 20 AP tests and had a fantastic social life without too much stress throughout high school and still managed to get a full ride at a top school.

Tell them you got into two schools and went to the one with the lower USNews ranking.

^ Oh I did that and got b*tched out on the UMich forum. It was NOT fun.

After they get accepted to Harvard with a full-tuition, merit-based scholarship, tell them it’s still not good enough since they didn’t get free room and board too.

Burn all of their AP/ACT/SAT prep books.

Tell them they’ll get no where in life with a 2350 SAT and they should forget about even getting into a state school.

Give them pamphlets on local community colleges they “should look into”

honorstudent, THANK YOU for that article! What it says in there is what I have been saying for awhile.

Tell them even though they have much better stats than you, you were a URM and had good enough stats for acceptance to a top school. ;)

^^haha, ansar, that’s a good one.

Tell them that no one cares that they got a 790 vs an 800 on a SAT II.

Release info that reveals that the founder of CC and all the super moderators are community college graduates, and nothing more.

Tell them that really colleges don’t care about the really hard classes you took and all they look at is the grades so you should have taken easy classes to get a high GPA.

Tell them that you turned down Harvard for your state school because you don’t like MA weather.

Tell them to crawl in a hole and die.

Say, “Congrats on getting into school X! Too bad you couldn’t get into Harvard!” LOL someone did this to me.

Make every college open to everyone; sans application, SAT/ACT scores, or even graduating high school.

Tell a prospective engineering major that you turned down MIT because you prefer commuting to the small private college by your house so you can live at home and not have to pay for a dorm. (This isn’t me, but it would be funny)
