Ways to improve my résumé during junior year

<p>Hello Chance Community, </p>

<p>I am a rising junior high school student, the reason I am posting my stats is so that I can get positive feedback on my course load next year, areas I can improve upon, and advice from people in the same position as me.</p>

<p>Academic Statistics:
Class Rank: 1/867
Unweighted GPA 4.0/4.0
Weighted GPA 5.0/5.0</p>

<p>Standardized Tests:
SAT: Practice tests range from 2140-2230
SAT II:Spanish: 720 World History: 760
AP tests: Spanish-5 WHAP-5 Human Geography-5
I plan on taking 4 Ap classes next year (Psychology, APUSH, Chem, and English language) and 6 more senior year (Calc, Stat, Physics C, Gov, Macro Econ, English lit) 13 total</p>

<p>Major Extracurriculars:
Band: Marching band is 2nd in the state of Texas, I am a UIL All-State soloist, Band section leader, and band officer.
Boy scouts: I am an Eagle scout, continue to help my troop out as a JASM (Junior Assistant Scoutmaster), was a senior patrol leader (Highest youth position), organized boy scout marching band, and am developing an app for the BSA.
NHS: I am the vice president of my school’s national honor society.
Table tennis: North Texas regional champion (2013)
Other clubs: Spanish honor society, science honor society, student council, and HOSA (Health club)</p>

<p>Community Service: 600 total hours
150+ hours of volunteering/shadowing at local hospital
50 hours teaching young children
150 hours through Boy scouting
200+ external hours through band/church events</p>

<p>And I’m Asian.</p>

<p>Okay where to begin…Your doing great, so just keep doing what your doing. Great SAT/AP scores, nice EC’s, and really good service hours. I, like you, took APUSH and AP Lang my junior year and they were really…really easy. If I learned one thing it’s that for AP Lang, you don’t need to study for the AP exam (Its basically a harder CR SAT) so don’t worry about that AP Exam or class, it will be a breeze. APUSH: just know all the dates and you will get a 5. Your Senior year schedule is almost identical to mine, but I’m not taking AP Physics C so bonus points for you. Again, keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine. </p>

<p>P.S: only thing you have to work on could be that class rank, it could be better ;)</p>
