Sorry, I don’t do that.
Not my Forte. There are many on here with great experience with reading essays. I am good to help come up with a topic but not reading and giving feedback.
Here is an example for Case Western Reserve U:
Case considers the “Level of applicant’s interest” to be “Considered” in the admissions decision*
Here are some ways to show interest:
+Sign up for information.https://go.case.edu/register/requestinformation
+Attend a college fair and talk to the admissions counselor/alumni. They will have a method for you to share your information. https://go.case.edu/portal/local-visits
+Attend a High School visit if CWRU visits your HS
+Attend a regional information session. https://go.case.edu/portal/off-campus
+Take a tour/Go to open house if possible. https://go.case.edu/portal/campus-visit https://go.case.edu/portal/open-house-programs
+Contact the admissions counselor in your area; http://case.edu/admission/contact
+Read emails Case sends you (yes, colleges can tell if you have opened the email)
+Asking questions not answered on website or in this forum: admission@case.edu
*To see the relative importance of factors such as Demonstrated Interest, etc. check out the latest CWRU Common Data Set, Section C7

“Then the Why Us falls flat? Kids say things like great food, but everyone else knows it’s lousy. Lol.”
The Why Us essay is not what the CDS means when it asks colleges to answer how important interest is in the application, as there’s a separate category for the importance of essays. The Why Us essay is important enough to be its own category.
“He’s there so something worked…”
That’s anecdotal, I know kids that got into Michigan without stepping foot on the campus. I wouldn’t take my info and say hey, you don’t need to visit UM.
