Hello friends, today is July 7, 2019 and we are still waiting to hear about USC admission for fall 2019. The university did request spring grades…but those were out more than a month ago. My daughter will be entering SC as a softmore (if she gets in).
She is currently at SDSU in the school of engineering (which includes computer science, environmental science, coding. We live in. Manhattan Beach (Southern California). Two hours from SDSU, and one hour from USC. I can’t even imagine how families with kids and parents all over the country are tackling this. Good luck to all of you! And, best of luck to your children, as well!
I am really just reaching out to see if anyone knows if this is good news or terrible news. Have you heard of situations where they have turned students down - after making them wait until a month before school starts. And, of course, my daughter is applying to all the the of schools of sciences (computer, environmental, (engineering/code). Very Competitive.
I will be incredibly grateful for any information from parents -and Students (current SC students or prospective ones like my daughters.
Hopefully, we can get some insightful conversations going, and share knowledge. The more we know the better off are kids are.
Thank you all so much in advance —-
Fondly, Tess
@TessaLane The current transfer thread has been rolling for the last year with over 7000 posts and 800K views - the ones that remain on the thread are those like you that are still waiting. This is typically the last week the transfer results come out, so you will know for sure this week. And yes, some are still rejected even this late in the game. ugh. But there is still hope for anyone waiting. I would head over to this thread and repost - you will find some pals and empathetic ears there immediately!
