If you are submitting the Common App online, is the only way to submit an Arts Supplement via a hard copy sent s-mail? Or can you submit material online by way of including a URL to a website for your Arts Supplement material.

To be crystal clear, I am submitting my common app material online, and I would rather not have to create a DVD for my arts material. Am I allowed to just post material on a website and send a link with my application materials?

Hey keithdg,
No, the method of submission depends on the school. You can submit the arts supplement digitally through the commonapp by including the URL to your portfolio, but MAKE SURE your school accepts this. I submitted mine digitally, however, my ED school did not accept anything except physcal slides or CD’s (though their website didn’t specify). I had to overnight mail my slides, and the dean still could not guarantee that it would be reviewed. So email the art professor, and be positive that the school will accept a digital portfolio.
Good luck!
