<p>hey there.. there is so much info abt weeder course and ppl fearing it. What exactly is weeder?? is it very HARD so ppl get bad grades or very EASY so small mistakes cause u big time?</p>

<p>Kind of both. Nonetheless, you should be careful regardless of which class you take!</p>
<p>weeder classes still give about 20~30% for A-/A/A+. your grade at the end does not depend on the amount of points you accumulate relative to 100%. if you get a C+ on a test but the average is a D-, in the end you might still get a A-/A. all you need to worry about is beating other students.</p>
<p>so if you are trying to earn a high grade, it will still be hard since other people will be studying just as much.</p>
<p>so weeders are essentially 'weeding' the weaker students because its hard?? </p>
<p>then what are the very easy course that small mistakes can cost me? i wanna avoid those.</p>
<p>Weeder courses still weed you out with harsh curves (not just due to difficult subject matter). I do know that UGBA 10 is one such class where your grade can really suffer for missing only a few questions.</p>
