weight of senior schedule

Do colleges mainly consider the number of ap classes one has for senior year or the total number of academic courses? Would 5 ap classes with an elective suffice?

5 ap classes with an elective suffice?

yes

and the elective is academic decathlon

OF COURSE. thats absolutely fine. no worries.

5 AP classes could be on the excessive side.

these stupid threads just **** me off.

well counselor said i had 6 academics classes last year but only 5 this year and that might not look as rigorous. just wanted to find out if that claim is legit

i think 5 APs is plenty considering this is your senior year, and the majority of applicants toeven the most selective colleges take a free period or a couple "easy, slacker" classes along with a couple APs. The difference between someone taking 5 or 6 AP classes to college adcoms is probably none, except that your GPA could be slightly higher.

juventus10 isn't legit because he listens to his counselor
