<p>My school offers classes that are tough and are weighted and then there are AP classes. My senior year I am taking 2 AP's with three other weighted classes. Will colleges look at those other 3 weighted classes with the same weight as the APs?</p>
<p>The general rule is the most rigorous that your school offers...so if for instance you are taking weighted physics because your school doesn't offer AP physics, you are fine. If you are taking weighted english instead of AP english that would not be seen as taking the most rigorous...</p>
<p>Yes, as long as you take advantage of all the opportunities the school offers you, then you're fine. Also, schools hate weighted GPAs cause all HSs do them differently - having a high weighted GPA won't help you. Schools look at your transcript and the grades that you got in the classes you took. GPAs are just a simple way of quantifying your work in HS.</p>
