<p>As a HS senior applying this year, I recently attended an informational session on campus in which an admissions officer specifically advised us to be as literal as possible in that question. She said that they really just wanted to know where you’d lived, and that when they got “creative” answers (the example she gave was “I live in the world of books”) it actually went against what they wanted.</p>
