So on the front page of the scantron sheet thing, after we fill out all the personal info bubles, there is thiscute box at the bottom of the page, for "scoring use only" or something. What a surprise, they're 3 rows of 0-6, obviously for essay grading. Has anyone tried giving themselves 6's? I mean I figure they'd check, but you never know. (got a 12 in NOV, so not really concerned about this issue, but hey.)

Just watch....someone tries it next time, the scorers don't check by some weird miracle, and it turns out the kid marked the "zero" bubble rather than the "six" bubble.

I doubt this would work. But if someone wants to take a risk and do it then go ahead and tell everyone afterwards.

Wow that's a remarkable discovery! Maybe the grader will see it's already bubbled and just say 'o it's already graded so ill just pass it on' or something

*edit: on the other hand it might be a TRICK to trick us all...

I always wondered what that box was for... but it's probably wise not to do that because if you get caught, they'll probably cancel your entire test.

i dont think you can "get caught". that'd be too much of a leap by them, and it'd be too hard to prove. You could easily claim that you didn't do it, and someone must have marked it in shipping or something. Some senior with no life want to take it in may and try?
