So I'm looking for stuff online trying to find places that carry Wellesley apparel and there are like... none. I've been on that website cbamatthews or something and they have a few things. Obviously the bookstore at school will have stuff, but I was wondering if there was any other place online where I could try to find sweatshirts, sweatpants, pennants, teeshirts, etc. Plus they are all ridiculously overpriced, but I guess you get that with any school. I will be up at the campus again soon... is the stuff in the bookstore good? Should I bring a lot to buy stuff? I want to get hyped about my college! Hahahh thanks

I think the bookstore has a pretty good selection. It’s expensive, but seems to be of a decent quality (and they have the sale rack just outside the store). I just wore a Wellesley hoodie to school and got all kinds of compliments on it.

The cbamatthews site is the Wellesley bookstore site, though it is has fewer options than the actual bookstore. If you come to campus, just get something while you’re here!

Yes, the actual bookstore has plenty of Wellesley items in all sorts of styles and colors to choose from, even apparel for your parents (no, I did not get a “Wellesley mom” tee for myself :))! Shorts, sweatpants, tees, sundresses, tank tops, hats, hoodies, fleece tops… They aren’t cheap, but they are of very good quality.

One of the better places to buy stuff is also at the organization fair at Spring Open Campus. The student groups often have better, funnier, cheaper, and more appropriate stuff, and it helps the clubs get in their mandatory SOFC fundraiser (unrestricted funds … yay!).

Ok, thanks everyone! I have another question, although very unrelated… if Wellesley gave us work study in our financial package, do we start work immediately freshman year? is there a good system for letting students know what jobs are available and when to get started?

Thanks

You can start work after you get hired. Make sure you bring to college the documents you need for working. (Social Security Card, drivers license?) Something like that. The student employment site is here: [SFS Forms Page](http://www.wellesley.edu/SFS/StudentEmployment.html), but I don’t think you have the account you need to register for that site yet. You will find out more this summer.

Yes, bring forms of ID with you to college (and then bring them home later if you don’t need them anymore). I had to have my parents send me a copy of my birth certificate/passport so that I could have all the paperwork completed to work on campus.
