Wellesley Davis Degree

Hello,
So I’ve spent the last weeks scouring the Wellesley website and the Internet in general for information about the David Degree program, but I still have some questions. I was hoping to hear from a Davis scholar, but anyone who can give me answers is welcome!!

The first thing I wanted to know is how many Davis scholars are accepted each year? Wellesley is my top choice, but I would like an idea of how competitive the Davis Degree program is.

Secondly, is there a difference in education other than the fact that DS’s are allowed to take classes part time? I intend to go full-time, so that doesn’t really affect me. But are the same classes, majors, and extracurriculars available to the “non-traditional” students?

Lastly, can anyone give me any info on Davis Scholar housing? I believe that if you choose to live on campus, they house Davis Scholars in Cedar Lodge. However, the floor plans for Wellesley housing are not accessible unless you have a Wellesley.edu Google account. I would love some information on Cedar Lounge. Is it singles? Doubles?

Hopefully someone on this site can help me out. I’ve exhausted the rest of the Internet for information! Thank you!!
