@Anastasia523 Right! That’s actually the comforting part cuz my entire family’s now saying that I should calm down and study somewhere quieter than downtown Beijing where I live lollll. The connection between Wellesley and Boston is just perfect! Now we’ll just wait for the results to come out late Feb.7 (gonna be 8 in the morning for me) <:-P

@hotpinkspraypaint @hrsvery718 I wrote about the majors (srsly I Wellesley was the only liberal arts college I applied to since it has media arts and sciences and I simply just can’t say no to that lolll) and also the women scientists part. I know its kind of cliche blushhhh but I really love the women in STEM topic since its just so motivating

I wrote about my personal experience while I was there with the community and how welcoming it was, which is something I definitely need because (if I get in) Wellesley will be the farthest away I’ve been from home for an extended period of time as I live in Florida. I even shouted out my host Jackie from Discover Wellesley Weekend because of how awesome she was and how she was able to greet the majority of people we passed by BY NAME and remembered birthdays!! The second thing I gushed about was the first-year writing seminars and how I truly think that’ll help me find my voice as a women and as a student I even added in some classes from the past year that I would have loved to take. My supplement was about 450 words, really solid two paragraphs
I’m honestly freaking out that we’re gonna know tomorrow!! I hope I get to meet some of you guys <3
@hotpinkspraypaint @hrsvery718 I wrote about Mamaland (it’s about being able to keep the culture that I grew up in and still be able to engage with more). So a lot about diversity. ANDDD I talked of Nancy Drew (Those were actually one of the few books that sparked my interest in reading) I talked about what an inspiration she was because she was a female in a non-traditional role and what she represented to me as a person.
Kind of cliche? I guess? But I just wrote what REALLY appealed to me and how I could use it for Wellesley too. After all, it’s supposed to be a two-way relation
Also, the radio station looks so cool!
@vikiii YASS! And we don’t have to deal with the daily hustle bustle of a huge city but still be able to take advantage of the perks.
And women in STEM is actually one of the topics I wanted to write about but then it came down to what can give them an insight me more as I’d already talked of a little bit about women empowerment

Yoooo @bookboozer I LOVE Nancy Drew!! I read the books like clockwork in the 4th grade! If I hadn’t visited or something like that I would have done Harriet Adams (Carolyn Keene) instead Those books had such an impact on me. We’re all so close, I really hope it all works out
