Wellesley Interview

.....yes yes yes
brain short circuited...
LOL i guess i just want to be there asap?

I understand. Sometimes I find myself thinking, "man, I can't wait for next year at college," only to realize that it won't be next year.

My D had a Wellesley interview with an alum (and her newborn baby, too) in a Starbucks..........it was casual, friendly and very easy to do. This was not her first interview but I think alum interviews at a neutral site are nice.

Mine's on campus, since I only live about an hour away. I'm doing it in August because I want to practice on other schools' interviews first, before Wellesley...because it's one of my favorites! I don't think I'll commit to ED, since I like a few other schools, but if I HAD to do ED somewhere, I think it would be Wellesley.

Bustles and dai, my thoughts exactly. It's so not fair to do all sorts of college visits and get all psyched about all the stuff they have to offer and then coming home and realizing "darn...I still have another year of ridiculous high school to get through."

haha, exactly.
and i haven't even been there yet.
I just got excited from reading and reseraching about Wellesley!

Wellesley sent me a packet and I have been reading it every night! Everything looks spectular about it! Eeekkk-I love reading about it and looking at the pictures and trying to imagine myself there!! Anyone else feel that they are getting to the point of sillyness?!?!

OMG
YESSS
that red one?? it was definitely that packet that solidified my decision.
before that i was like : ehh....all girls.....ehh
but after: squeals WELLLLLLESLEY!

I know!!!!! Eeeeekkk! I have it next to me and I am drooling! I wanted my boyfriend last night to sop talking to me on the phone because I wanted to go back to looking at the packet! And he was like "what are you reading?" And I was like "WELLESLEY!!!!!!!!!"
LOL-oh this is bad!

ooooook....
see, i think you're more excited than me then.
but i did tell my best friend about wellesley for like 2 hours and finally persuaded her to apply ED too~~
tehe~!~

Hehe-happiness!

Congrats on finishing the interview! I always liked interviews, I thought it was fun to just sit and chat. Much better than filling out all that paper work.

Yeah, I'm actually kinda looking forward to mine :-).

Forget the red viewbook thing (although it is veryveryvery nice), for me reading the Wellesley catalog is a bit of a guilty pleasure, haha.

Lol, I know how you all felt! I think I read that red viewbook a little over 30 times.. I even kept it in my nightstand drawer!

Anyway, you'll see how fast time goes by. Try to relax - it'll get a bit stressful, but you can't let it get to you. I hope to see you all two falls from now :)

Lol-I thought I was the only one that kept that packet next to my bed! Lol-traxx I hope to see you 2 falls from now and we can laugh over how insane we are! :p

Favorite quote from the viewbook: "Where there's a Wellesley, there's a way."

Or how about: "And if anyone, ever, should ask whether you know your place, the answer, of course, is Yes-my place is everywhere."

That's a good one, too!

Have you girls seen this yet?

YouTube - arliecorday's Channel

That's the DVD we received with our acceptance letters. When I got this in December, it quickly replaced my red viewbook! Lol

aww!
you're going to be there this fall?
i envy you very very VERY VERY much.
that video just made my day
and i'm finally done with my rough drafft of my why wellesley essay!!
yay~

Yep, I'm going to be there this fall :) I'm so excited! Only a month and a half left!

Don't worry, the admissions process will go by extremely quickly. Are you applying ED?
